The bridge spans the rivers Brahmaputra and Lohit in upper Assam. It is 3.1 kilometers longer than the Bandra Worli Sea Link in Mumbai and reaches with viaducts 9.15 kilometers.

According to India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi: “This bridge enhances connectivity between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, and opens the door for economic development, on a big scale.”
The main benefit of the infrastructure is that it reduces travel time between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh from six hours to only one hour.
The Dhola-Sadiya Bridge has cost $155M.
