Terex : Everything you need in new hammerhead tower crane

The line of tower cranes of Terex Cranes has been upgraded with the new Terex SK 452-20 hammerhead tower crane, with a maximum capacity of 20-tonne (22 US tons) and a jib tip capacity of 2.5-tonne (2.75 US tons).

This new tower crane features among other several enhancements, an erection on two different tower systems TS 212 and HD23, with 88m of maximum free standing height, with improved design of counterjib platform for ease of access and maintenance and particularly, 90% of parts commonality with the SK 415-20.

For the performance, the machine provides new hoist winch system allows for an impressive maximum hoisting speed of 190m/min (623 ft/min) and a drum capacity of 990 m (3,248 ft). The cab for its part, is designed to ensure more safety with a large windows to provide a wide viewing area.
