Rental company Mediaco wants to lead French market

Mediaco has ordered 25 new Demag all-terrain cranes, comprising of twenty AC 55-3, two AC 100-4, two AC 160-5 and one AC 130-5 to inflate its fleet of 600 machines.

The new Demag AC 55-3 cranes are not only equipped with an automated counterweight assembly system, which guarantees a simple and fast installation, but are powered by a single motor to reduce operating and maintenance costs. A highlight is the IC-1 Plus control system which calculates the load capacities for each boom position, depending on the steering angle of the superstructure.

"Our objective is to take back our leading position in the French market," said Steve Filipov, President of Terex Cranes. "If you want to register as the number One in the heart of the hexagon, you must sell your products to the country’s leading rental company." We are proud that Mediaco’s fleet again counts several Demag models".

Deliveries will begin in July 2017 and will run until February 2018.
