According to CNBC, the Wynn Resort boards has greenlighted the construction of Paradise Park, a resort in Las Vegas featuring a 20-acre lagoon.
The resort will include a white-sand beachfront for the lagoon, a boardwalk, cabanas and restaurants as well as a couple of thousand hotel rooms. The project is slated to be built next to the Wynn’s existing Las Vegas casino.

Aside from attracting gamblers, Wynn said the company wanted to draw families by tapping into the lucrative market of family vacation destination. Wynn shares was up 4% after the announcement.
