Kobelco introduces the most compact excavator for European market

Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (KCME) has introduced the most compact and smallest excavator to meet the demand of the European market, the SK08.

The SK08 in the 0.8 ton class and weighing only 1,035 Kg, features the best ability to work in a confined area and can operate efficiently in even narrower passages than ever before.

The super mini SK08 is compact but features big performance to work in narrow spaces, with only a tail swing radius of 72.5 cm and the tail overhang of 30.5 cm, the machine is also equipped with a crawler extension/retraction mechanism as standard. Furthermore, the new unit has plenty of working ranges with a maximum of digging depth of 1m46, digging height 2m73 and digging reach 2m83.

The reliability of SK08 has been focused in reinforcing structure to support hard work, high stability with an exceptional body balance, and finally, the prevention of the damage to hydraulic cylinders and piping.

European market holds a high demand in mini excavator segment, and the request for small yet high performance excavators has increased over the past 12 months, Kobelco feels confident that this machine is therefore ideally dedicated to European construction sector.
