More than 170,000 visitors to Bauma China

The 8th edition of Bauma China, China’s construction and mining equipment exhibition, saw an influx of 170,000 visitors from 149 different countries and regions between 22 and 25 November 2016.

In a context of economic downturn and modernization of the industry, Bauma China 2016 has become increasingly international. "The success of the show reflects the confidence of exhibitors around the world in the Chinese economy and the global economy. It is beneficial for growth and a healthier market," said Jun Qi, president of China Construction Machinery Association .

After China, the top 10 countries and regions to have been represented by visitors to Bauma China were Korea, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia. In total, the show welcomed 2,953 exhibitors from 41 countries and regions covering an area of 300,000 m², 70% of which originated in China.

The show organizes 45% of new exhibitors, including many manufacturers of tunnel boring machines. The next edition will take place in 2018 from 27 to 30 November.
