This 4-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 9 liters is the first of a new generation of engines that Deutz develops in the context of a partnership with the manufacturer Liebherr. For the record, the engines (all 6 cylinders) manufactured by Liebherr will be sold by Deutz under its own brand. The partnership provides that the Chinese joint venture in Deutz will produce the TCD 9.0 under license so that it can more easily integrate into the local market.

Together with TCD 9.0, Deutz will exhibit TCD 2.9 on Bauma China, which will represent the range of compact small engines.
