Terex: the dumper TA9SP made its debut in the UK

Terex Construction unveiled the new dumper - the TA9SP - during the week of Construction (UK Construction Week 2016) in the UK.

25,000 professionals visited the Birmingham Exhibition Centre and were able to admire the new dumper Terex Construction. Powered by an engine Stage IIIB / Tier 4F and integrating a Powershift transmission along with two operating technologies (Stop / Start Control and Autoshift), the TA9SP was designed to improve productivity, reduce maintenance requirements and gain significant fuel savings .

The system Stop / Star Control was developed in-house by Terex Engineering department. It improves on site safety, reduces fuel consumption and increases the services intervals. With suitable interlocks in case of unexpected movement, it will automatically start and stop the engine according to the working conditions. It can provide several hundred of euros of fuel savings per year as well as extending service intervals by 24 weeks.

For its part, the Autoshift technology allows the transmission to hold lower geared for longer and provide the necessary power needed. When the machine is empty, the system allows gears to be changed quickly improving productivity.
