Yanmar sails towards 35th America’s Cup

The 35^th America’s Cup which will take place in Bermuda from May 26 through June 25 has announced that Yanmar Co. Ltd, had become the Official Marine Engines Partner to support the VIP Program.

Yanman will provide the marine engines which will be used on the VIP shuttle boat to take guests out to the race course area.

As the America’s Cup is the world-renowned competition and the oldest trophy in international sport, Yanmar underlined that it was a great pride for the Japanese company to be selected for their engines’ power environmental performance.

America’s Cup Event Authority has also stated that this global event needs reliability, performance and an environmentally sound power source, and Yanmar, a manufacturer of performance marine engines, can respond to all counts.
