This new project, funded by a € 1 million grant from Shift2Rail following a call for tender, was launched last November. It aims to harmonize the language and data of many European railway operators. ST4RT (Semantic Transformations for Rail Transportation) is the result of a group of 8 members, coordinated by UNIFE. One of the project’s main partners, Hit Rail, will make available its HEROS platform as a web services interface and will work alongside its partners CEFRIEL, D’Appolonia, OLTIS Group, Politecnico di Milano, Trenitalia and UIC.
