Fayat acquires Atlas Copco Roads Division

The construction group Fayat has just signed an agreement to buy the Atlas Copco Road Equipment division, which manufactures asphalt mixers, asphalt pavers and planers under the Dynapac brand.

The aim of this operation is to strengthen the strategic position of Fayat in the market for construction and road maintenance equipment. It is recalled that the group has solid expertise in this market through the companies Bomag, Marini, Marini-Ermont and SAE, Secmair and Breining. The acquisition includes sales and service in 37 countries and production units in five countries: Sweden, Germany, Brazil, India and China. Atlas Copco’s Road Equipment division has 1,265 employees and sales of around € 309 million in 2016.
