This machine, from the latest generation 10, incorporates many improvements but is distinguished above all by its environmentally friendly design and its best performance at work. The SK500LC-10 is also the latest model in the range to be switched to the Stage IV engine. Its Hino diesel six-cylinder supercharged cooled engine delivers a torque of 1470 Nm for a power of 271 kW. In terms of productivity, the SK500LC-10 offers an excavation force of 267 kN as standard and 292 kN with the Power Boost, to achieve an excavation volume increase of 13% (H mode). In parallel, fuel consumption was reduced by about 6% in ECO mode and S mode compared to the previous model (generation 9).

Different configurations are proposed for the different jobs and to facilitate the transport to the sites. The LC version is the standard model of the SK500LC-10. The VLC variant has a mechanical variable chassis to change the machine gauge. The wide position ensures stability while the transport position simplifies the logistics in the countries constrained by the dimensions of the road assemblies. The ME version has a pendulum and a shortened arrow for the use of a large pit in mine or quarry. This configuration is available as standard with the variable chassis. It is also proposed a wide range of tracks in single or double edges, of different widths and robustesses.
