Caterpillar Upgrades M-Series Loaders

Caterpillar has made technical improvements to its small M (926M, 930M and 938M) wheel loaders as well as the K Series 924K, 930K and 938K models.

A new secondary display option has been added for all models of small M and K series wheel loaders. It improves the human-navigation interface and provides a multitude of special payload management functions. The new touchscreen is equipped with a Qwerty keyboard allowing the operator to navigate through the menu and enter information such as applications, maintenance and maintenance alerts etc.

The loaders also feature a touch screen and Product LinkTM Elite integrating Caterpillar Payload Management. This management system confirms to the operator that there is enough weight in the bucket before moving to another stack, which increases the productivity of the machine. When this function is active on the 924K, 926M, 930K, 930M, 938K or 938M models, it gives the operator the ability to place the right amount of material in the hopper or truck while reducing the number of cycles. Caterpillar Payload Management also allows you to set the load weight and monitor the cumulative amount of material in a truck.
