Italy: compact equipment in full growth
 In Italy, the market for compact equipment for earthmoving operations is growing. As proof, sales of mini excavators between January and July 2016 are up 24%.

Compact, effective, adapted to the work on the sites in urban environment, the machines "featherweight" earthmoving have the rating in Italy. Mini-loaders and mini-excavators (up to 6 t) continue to gain market share worldwide, rising from 15% of total sales in 2010 to 24% of sales in 2015. In Italy, Figures from the SaMoTer Outlook study carried out with the help of Prometeia and Unacea, the market recorded 3,935 mini excavators between January and July 2016, an increase of 24% compared to the same period in 2015. Skid steer loaders are not to be outdone with 342 units sold, a progression of 44% as well as mini crawler loaders that flow to 286 units (+ 41%).

PUBLICITÉ
These figures show a renewed dynamism in the Italian construction equipment market and are a positive signal for the 30th edition of Samoter, which will be held in Verona from 22 to 25 February 2017. The compact equipment segment will be worthy of representation with the presence of builders Ihimer, Kubota, Takeuchi and Yanmar.
