World premiere: the rigid Truck Liebherr T 236 with 100T !

Liebherr presents the new rigid truck of 100T, the T236, 100% "Made in France". Concentrated with both productivity and reliability, he wisely combines diesel and electric power for greater energy efficiency. Explanations.

The T236 takes advantage of an electrical innovations of Liebherr on the driving system with the introduction of the system Litronic Plus Generation 2 AC . Through this system, the vehicle is representing a new experience for the mining sector. Performance, availability are the words that suit the best , the T236 whose faculty provides an impressive reducing operating costs. All components are thus designed and manufactured to last in the most extreme operating conditions.

To ensure the safety of the maintenance technicians, the T236 is equipped with bipolar battery, a starter and insulators for the lifting system. Powered on a voltage of 690 VAC and 900 VDC, it includes, for the first time, the system Litronic Plus Insulation that eliminates the risk thus from the conception onwards. For the engine side, fuel consumption is optimized by an Active Front End technology which uses cleverly an electrical energy when the vehicle is stationary.

Manufactured by Liebherr Mining plant based in Colmar , where are produced notably the mining excavators, the T236 is the first Liebherr rigid truck to be produced in France (its counterparts are usually produced in the United States). Also, it is the first time that a rigid truck weighing such tonnage (100 tons) is produced in France.

The decision comes in a logic of sustainable development of the Liebherr transport material range. The manufacturer expects to renew the range of articulated trucks, specially in one model of 30T which should be exhibited at Bauma 2019. A model of 40T will be following before an expansion of the range oriented upward with the idea to constitute an offer of comprehensive range, linking with the output of the rigid truck T236 100T.
