Prysmian at Middle East Electricity 2017

The Prysmian Group will attend Middle East Electricity 2017, which will be held from 14 to 17 February in Dubai. It will showcase the complete range of cables and the latest innovations for construction, power transmission and industrial applications.

Visitors will discover the full range of state-of-the-art cables including HV and EHV underground and submarine cables for interconnections between power grids and connections between natural and artificial islands and the mainland. In addition, there is a wide range of cables for industrial applications and innovations such as the PRY-CAM Partial Discharge and TECSUN, the cable for applications Solar power.

The show is strategic for Prysmian for whom the Gulf region is full of opportunities. The group installed the first underwater link serving Doha, the GCCIA Saudi-Arab-Bahrain submarine interconnection and the Transco network connecting Bahia and Saadiyat stations in Abu Dhabi. In 2016, Prysmian obtained several contracts in Kuwait (MEW Jaber Al Ahmad City S3), Oman (OETC Saada Grid Station) and Bahrain (EWA 400 kV Transmission Development Project).
