Samoter Fair : Komatsu launches its mini-excavators MR-5

At the Italian fair Samoter in Verona from 22nd to 25th February, Komatsu will present a world premiere of its new mini-excavator range, the MR-5, for Medium Radius. For the moment, the manufacturer focuses on models of more than 3 t up to 6 t.

Preserving its bias to market only short-radius models, Komatsu has worked for this new series on the general ergonomics of machines and their ease of operation. In addition to the integration of new engines, from 3 t onwards, several technical improvement points were provided by the Komatsu engineers, it being understood that these new models are developed jointly by Japan and Italy, where their European production plant is located.

On these mini-excavators of the MR-5 series, there will also be a revised and corrected exterior presentation with a totally integrated counterweight and proportional controls, this to manage more easily the various adaptable equipments. Komatsu preserves in any case a cabin largely dimensioned for the comfort of operators, a long standing recognized advantage in the European markets.
