The first CTE ZED 20.2 HVS on Sicily’s ground

The innovative Smart Stability System S3, presented by CTE in Bauma in 2016, is now available on the truck mounted articulated platform ZED 20.2 HVS, the first unit of which has just been delivered in Sicily (Italy).

For the record, the ZED 20.2 HVS is an articulated platform on a working height of 20 m, with an outreach of 8.7 m with 300 kg capacity in the basket. It is now equipped with the stabilization system S3 – with H frame stabilizers - which adapts in real time and automatically to the conditions of use, the load in the basket and the geometry. Thanks to the S3, the operator can easily adjust the machine in different stabiliser configurations (fixed narrow jacking at the rear outriggers and variable jacking front outriggers) to meet several work applications.

For the record, the ZED 20.2 HVS platform incorporates two major innovations. First, the HOME function allows you to close safely the platform from every positions of the boom. When the platform is closed, the same button allows to open the patform securely. Secondly, the automatic stabilising system from the basket which allows the operator to stabilise the platform from the basket.
