East End Crossing Motorway in Indiana (USA), a fulfilled mission for VINCI

On 18^th December 2016, the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) Motorway “Ohio River Bridge - East End Crossing” linking the states of Indiana and Kentucky by a portion of 12 km was now completely achieved.

The inauguration ceremony was graced with the presence of many important figures such as Eric Holcomb - Governor of Indiana, Matt Bevin – Governor of Kentucky, Alain Bonnot – Chairman of Vinci Construction.
This project was carried out under the consortium of Indiana Finance Authority, Walsh Investors and Bilfingers PL, and the contract is valued of nearly $ 1 billion (€ 956 million).

For the record, the bridge over the Ohio River includes a 762 metres cable-stayed and a 512 metres dual-tube, will increase cross-river mobility and alleviate traffic congestion for the travelers between Louisville and southern Indiana area.

Vinci Highways, Vinci Concession’s subsidiary is being assigned for operation and maintenance of this infrastructure for a period of 35 years.
