Women and Construction: with Bouygues Contruction, let’s move!

Last December 5, the association "Elles Bougent" (They Move) signed a partnership with Bouygues Construction and its network of women WeLink. Target: to better promote the activities of the Construction to the girls, through the implication and the testimony of the women engineers and technicians of the group, the sponsors “Elles Bougent”

For more than 10 years, Elles Bougent has introduced engineers and technicians skills to students and high school students in order to create vocations for these girls to join industrial sectors lacking of women’s talent such as construction, energy, digital, transportation.

"Our actions are complementary and occur at different stages of women’s careers. “Elles Bougent” acts with young secondary students or university students; the network WeLink assists women once in the company for their expansion, their growth and make Bouygues Construction grow, "says Catherine Gutknecht president of the women’s network Welink.

Bouygues Construction has already about thirty active sponsors, women engineers and technicians ready to testify with youth. Many projects with the association are on the way like the animation of the Elles Bougent’s quiz on the booth of Bouygues Construction at the forum of the ESTP this Tuesday December 13th, testimonies of sponsors on next January 24th during the day " Elles Bougent for digital " and actions fostering awareness in different countries of the group, on March 8th, on the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day.
