FLSmidth to build €100M cement plant in North Africa
On May 17, the Danish-based global engineering company has been awarded contract for cement plant construction project.

The contract compels the company to provide engineering, equipment supply, construction supervision and commissioning works for the plant which is to be located in North Africa.

It marks the culmination of a close collaboration between the customer and FLSmidth, enabling us to deliver a state-of-the-art cement plant based on our experience and competencies from the cement industry, our global presence, and the know-how of our 12,000 employees in delivering productivity enhancing solutions. North Africa is a very important market to FLSmidth and we have previously supplied several cement plants across the region."

The cement plant is planned to have a daily capacity of 12,000 tons.

The contract is worth €100M.
