Weighing: RDS Technology presents its Loadmaster α50

RDS Technology, a subsidiary of Topcon specialized in weighing solutions, has launched its latest software Loadmaster α50. This new version, dedicated to replace the Loadmaster 8kiX, is presenting as a board weighing system for wheel loaders operating in the tough environments.

Designed to increase the accuracy of the load, reduce vehicle movements on the working site and ensure correctly the filling of trucks right the first time, the Loadmaster α50 also wants to strengthen security at the working sites. Its color touchscreen of 7 inches is doubled to 12 external keys to ensure the operator an intuitive and ergonomic use. Originally scheduled for loaders, however, the system could be installed on telehandlers and tractors. In any case, it can be operated with a maximum of 10 different accessories. By setting a load target, the operator is able to know incrementally the remaining weight to be loaded.

Loadmaster α50 provides in addition, a function of the last bucket adjustment, allowing the operator to adjust more rapidly the weight of the bucket. Its storage capacity is further improved: it can now include 50 products, 100 customers and up to 5 possibilities of mixtures products, distribution and handling, an innovation which optimizes traceability and stock management. Finally, the system is equipped with a USB port to transfer more efficiently the data.
