Wacker Neuson mini excavator works for urban….

The manufacturer Wacker Neuson expands its range of mini excavators with the new crawler excavator ET16, intended to replace the 1404 in autumn 2016, which is adapting perfectly to the excavation work in urban areas.

With its compact dimensions, the ET16 accessed easily to the hard-to-reach area and therefore it is a significant ally in the city center or developing the landscape and green spaces. The crawler track with variable gauge which can deploy from 990 to 1300 mm, allowing the operator to move in narrow passageways and ensures a high stability. Due to its reduced transport weight between 1 400 and 1 600 kg, a simple trailer vehicle is sufficient for transport.

The main asset lies in the cabin: the largest in its weight category. An ergonomic design and high quality equipment provide to the operator with maximum head and legroom. The full glazing of the cabin offers a panoramic visibility through all the areas of work and increases thus safety.

The ET16 is equipped by a diesel 3-cylinder engine with an output of 13.2 kW , economical and efficient, and has a second forward speed up to 4 km / h. Its digging depth of nearly 2 240 mm and dumping height of about 2500 mm, make it an important ally on urban earthworks.
