Liebherr serves Domodedovo airport in Russia

A Liebherr concrete plant is used for the construction site of the Moscow airport extension. It provides the material needed for a new runway.

The construction work at Domodedovo airport in Moscow is in full swing. This terminal, which welcomes more than 28.5 million passengers per year, is intended to become a complete airport city, as part of the Aerotropolis DME project. The expansion project involves the construction of business centers, logistics buildings, industrial zones, shopping centers, techno-centers and communication centers. Aircraft parking positions are being redesigned and the terminal area enlarged.

On the construction site, a Betomix 4.5 DW Liebherr concrete plant provides a flow rate of up to 190 m3 / hour. The quantities of concrete required for the construction of the new airstrip are thus directly delivered on site. This phase should be completed by 2020. The plant is distinguished by its modular system which adapts to the most diverse requirements. It is equipped with a mixer with two lateral horizontal shafts.
