Vinci Airports swipes 60% of Lyon Airport

The consortium consisting of Vinci Airports, the Caisse des Dépôts and Crédit Agricole Insurances has completed the acquisition of 60% of the capital of Lyon Airport (Aéroports de Lyon ADL), concessionary company whose contract ends on December 31st, 2047 for the airports of Lyon Saint-Exupéry and Lyon Bron.

Major shareholder, the consortium led by Vinci Airports will ensure the development of the two airports which totalized 8.7 million of passengers in 2015. Nicolas Notebaert, CEO of Vinci Concessions and Chairman of Vinci Airports is appointed as a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lyon Airport. The goal is to make two airport platforms a hub in a highly dynamic region with 12 million inhabitants.

The consortium will ensure the traffic growth and airport expansion to exceed 15 million passengers by 2032.
