Embedded weighing systems from RDS Technology at Conexpo

Several products from the RDS Technology range of on-board weighing systems dedicated to the construction sector will be presented at the Loup Electronics / RDS Technology booth at the Conexpo-CON / AGG show, which will be held from 7th to 11th March in Las Vegas (USA). Featured, the WEIGHLOG VUE.

The WEIGHLOG VUE is an on-board weighing system for wheel loaders with state-of-the-art ’CAN’ technology that processes signals and provides accurate weight information. Designed to work in the fastest loading environments and in the toughest conditions, the WEIGHLOG VUE aims to reduce cycle times and optimize vehicle performance. Ergonomic and modern, with a 7 inch color and touch screen, it can be used with up to 10 different accessories (buckets or forks) and can be installed on various types of loader.

It continuously measures the hydraulic pressure using 4 sensors. The pressure signals are picked up and filtered through a weighing arc, created by tilt sensors which measure the angle of the arm of the main lever. All signals are processed in the Smart Box RDS and the resulting weight calculation is sent to the mounted terminal in the cab. The product is compatible with an SQL database, offering up to 8 reference fields and providing virtually unlimited data of products, customers, trucks, carriers, locations, destinations, combinations and ratings.

Unidirectional or even bidirectional communication with the back office, for sending and receiving job information, is made possible thanks to the Wi-Fi / GPRS connection. The video communication allows the box to position itself in "reverse camera mode" and consequently the need for additional screen is eliminated, thus freeing the precious space of the cabin.

For small loaders, Loup offers the WEIGHLOG 3030, also equipped with a color touch screen. The WEIGHLOG 3030 is a user-friendly weighing system that provides precise and consistent results on the weight of the bucket and the total load ensuring perfect control of stock and weighing.

Also on the stand is the WEIGHLOG EX, the on-board weighing system for excavators, and the iSOSYNC software (works with WEIGHLOG EX and WEIGHLOG VUE), for fast transfer of data from the loader / shovel to the office and vice versa. Finally for the forklift trucks, Loup and RDS will exhibit the LIFTLOG 1000; Weighing system with an accuracy rate of 0.5%.
