Li Yu Shan Mining, a Chinese quarrying company, is located on the east coast of China, in the former province of Zhejiang, 60 km from the provincial capital of Hangzhou and 200 km from Shanghai. It is renowned in the region for the production of small and medium aggregates of 20-25 mm and 50-60 mm. A third of its production is used as a base material for the construction of thousands of kilometers of high-speed railways that crisscross China. The company produced 1.5 million tonnes in 2015.
