The second bridge linking the United States and Canada, to be called the Gordie Howe International Bridge, is seemingly on its track to be built after a long, drawn out process.
The project, estimated to run north of US $4.5 billion, would be paid upfront by Canada through a public/private and other partnerships with a view to recoup the investment in tolls later on. Construction of the bridge could start as soon as 2018.
